Surin Golf Course was opened in 1983.

The Golf Course is a 9hole par 36 course, and is very good for Beginners also.

We also have a driving range, club house and restaurant.

Adequate car parking for large groups of even minibus tours.

Golf Course review by Alan of alanthebuilder.com

Hole 1: Par 4, 345 Yds. This hole has an out of bounds to the right, and a large tree obstruction to the left. The second shot, water comes into play. Keep the ball straight you should get on the green

Hole 2: Par 4, 360 Yds. A good tee off shot is essential for this hole to line up for your second shot, which needs to carry a canal, road and a lake, also avoiding a big old tree. Large bunkers are also behind the green.

Hole 3: Par 3, 165 Yds. Tee Shot straight over a lake onto the green, with bunkers to the front and rear of the green. This hole can also be played over land, for those not wanting to put their balls in the drink.

Hole 4: Par 5, 590 Yds. Tee off over a small pond onto a large fairway, be careful not to go right as this is out of bounds. The large sloping green is protected by large bunkers on either side, and if the hole is at the back of the green, it can be very hard.

Hole 5: Par 4, 392 Yds. Tee off over the Road and a small canal. Out of bounds to the left and the right. Nice green, dont over hit it though as it'll end up in the army officers mess.

After Hole 5, is the halfway house drinks and refreshments hut, Ran by Mr.Peerapon. He is a Handicap 5 golfer and plays the Surin Golf Course every day, if you have any questions or need some advice, he is always happy to speak to the golfers on their way around the course, This is also a good place to stop to use the WC too.

Hole 6: Par 3, 205 Yds. A straight 185Yds drive is required on this hole to land on the green, its a narrow tee off shot, and the bunker on the left can sometimes be the landing spot. This is also a 'call up hole'

Hole 7. Par 4, 354 Yds. This Hole 7, is a dog leg left and requires a 190yds Tee off shot to see around the corner, Second shot can be quite tricky if you leave it short, and the green is quite small.

Hole 8. Par 5, 490 Yds. This hole is a favorite of mine, you need to carry a 185yds tee off shot to be able to see around the dog leg right, then it is a long second shot, and the green is large with bunkers on the left and the right.

Hole 9. Par 4, 350 Yds. This hole has a tree right in the centre. If you are a big hitter you can clear the tree, if not it is safer to go down the left, as the right side is OB. This hole has bunkers on each side, and a large one in front of the green. Good Luck.

In General Surin golf course is the best in the area and is constantly being upgraded and worked on, the fairways are getting to be in good shape and the greens are tip top. You will find the caddies to be very friendly and honest .The open air club house sell drinks and snacks also Thai food is available .Its a nice place to sit and have cold beer after a round .If you have any suggestions Mr. Peerapon is normally at the drinks stop on hole 5/6. He’s always up for listening
